MANILA, Philippines — Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight PR412 bound for Osaka on Wednesday was forced to return to Manila after experiencing a pressurization issue.
In a statement, PAL said the incident with Airbus A321ceo with registration RP-C9928 happened at 10:08 a.m. and "in accordance with safety protocols, the flight crew initiated a descent to a lower altitude and declared an emergency as a precautionary measure."

The issue, the airline said, was subsequently resolved, and emergency protocols were downgraded.
